Wilma Mae Pendleton

Wilma Mae Pendleton was born December 19, 1922 at Wirt, Oklahoma and passed from this life May 28, 2021 at Wilson Nursing Center, Wilson, OK. Wilma was preceeded in death by her parents, Ruel and Gladys Pendleton, a sister, Wanda Dunn and brother-in-law Mike Dunn.


Wilma was loved and adored by her remaining family, Susan Cottrell, Healdton, OK, Gretchen and Alan Bratton, Mason, Noah, and Gunnar Bratton, Stillwater, OK, Brandon and Amber Rice, Cailin and Karis Rice, Mansfield, TX, Sarah and Kenneth Wiley, Broken Arrow, OK, Cara and Jared Pence, Ethan, Wiley, and Elizabeth Pence, Stillwater, OK, Miranda Kaye and Matt Holter, McKenzie Holter and Mikayla Posey, Broken Arrow, OK, Janet and John Bob Randolph III, Oklahoma City, OK, John and Angie Randolph, Ardmore, OK, J. R. and Carlee Randolph, Choctaw, OK and Jamie Randolph, Oklahoma City, OK.


Raised in a Christian home and a life-long member of the Church of Christ, Wilma worked tirelessly with love for her family and others, often sending them letters of encouragement, taking children on nature walks, working all day to come home and mop floors, sitting for hours on the floor cutting out dresses to be sewn for Susan and Sarah and all without complaint.


Wilma was a gifted artist and as the aging process took its toll, the joy of painting became lost to her. Her paintings remain as a gift to family. Wilma taught her family through this life of service and love for others and we all are truly grateful.


Arrangements are handled by Alexandar-Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 5, at 10:00 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore.
