Wilma Fay Beasley

Wilma Fay "Doris" Beasley was born March 9, 1933 to the late James Paul Ashley Woody and Bessie Irene (Hagar) Beasley in Texico, TX. She departed from this life on May 22, 2016 in Wilson at the age of 83. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home & Crematory.

Doris was raised in Roswell, NM marrying the late Glen Paul Beasley in the early 50's. They moved to Nevada where they spent several years together. Glen preceded her in death in 1984. Doris moved to Oklahoma in 2012 from Pahrump, NV. She was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed sewing and cooking.

Doris is survived by her son Glen Ashley Beasley and wife Linda, sisters Nellie, May and Rosie, brothers James and Chester, grandchildren Ashley Ditoto and husband Dennis and Andrew Paul Beasley and wife Cheryl, great grandchildren Shelby, James, Chloe and Bella. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, twin brother, William Morris Woody, brother V.J. Woody and sisters Georgie, Betty and Pauline Doris.
