Willie "Jean" Jeannine Gilcrease

Willie "Jean" Jeannine Gilcrease, of Oklahoma City, OK, departed this life at her residence in Oklahoma City on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the age of 93 years, 6 months, and 4 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.

Jean was born on September 12, 1928 in Maud, OK to the late Mr. William Thomas Enloe and Myrtle (Davis) Enloe.

She grew up in Ringling and attended school there until moving to Oklahoma City as a young independent lady. She waited tables at Beverly's Chicken in the Rough and later worked in a dental office supporting herself. She married the love of her life Mr. Emmitt Preston " Skeet" Gilcrease on May 15, 1945 and they made their home in Oklahoma City where they would begin their family. Jean enjoyed shopping, gardening and admiring her beautiful flowers. She was a very active member of the Village Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jean loved her family dearly.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; husband Emmitt Preston "Skeet" Gilcrease; son, Gregory Preston Gilcrease daughter, Rainelle "Rainey" Bauer; brothers, Stanford Enloe and Jimmy Jack Enloe; sisters, Beatrice Tucker and Betty Jo Davis.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Beverly Mulligan and Michael of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Janelle Mulligan, Jeanna Mulligan, Justin Mulligan, Allison Kristy, Chris Bauer, and Mariah Gilcrease; great grandchildren, Megan, Conner, Aiden, Emi and Garrett; great great grandchildren, Liam and Noah; brother, Wesley Thomas Enloe of Pittsburgh, PA; nephew, Larry Gilcrease; nieces, Betty Roberts, Donna King, and Bennie Tucker; Many other relatives and a host of friends.
