Wilson-No services are scheduled for Mr. William “Bill” Thomas Tuten who passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 70. Arrangements are under the care of Alexander Funeral Home and Crematory of Wilson.
Bill was born December 8, 1941, at Savannah, GA to the late Mr. William Franklin Tuten and Mrs. Ruth Sarah (Morgan) Tuten.
Bill was raised at Tampa, FL attending school there. He joined the U.S. Navy after graduating high school and served for 12 years as a Dental Technician. After he was discharged he married the former Ms. Sandra Kay Fredenburg on August 3, 1969 at Brandon, FL. They made their home in Florida and Bill worked as a Computer Analyst for the State of Florida. In 2010 they moved to Oklahoma to be with their daughter. Bill was a life member of the Elks Lodge and a member of the American Legion, and was also a member of the Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death are his Parents and his sister, Mary Ann Pledger.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Sandra; Daughters, Patricia Smith and husband Billy, Ocklawaha, FL., Margret Schley, Ocklawaha, FL., Mary Darlene Rodriguez and husband Raymond, Titusville, FL., Jeannie Spence and husband Jerry, Wilson, Ok., Ruth Brier and husband Kenneth, Bell, FL., and son Doyle Thompson and wife Lisa, Howell, NJ.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
