William Thomas Ross

William “Bill” Thomas Ross was born May 25, 1928 at Broken Bow, Oklahoma to the late Mr. Thomas Jewell Ross and Mrs. Georgia Orlena Ross. He passed from this life Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Healdton, OK.

Bill was raised in Broken Bow attending school there. In 1945 he was drafted into the U.S. Army serving active duty during World War II. He married Ruth Meadows June 12, 1969 at the Assembly of God Church of Velma. They resided all of their life together in the Ratliff City area. Bill worked in the oilfields and also as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and playing the piano.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Thomas and Georgia Ross; Brother, Kenneth Ross; Sister, Rosemary Elizabeth Schlomach and Stepson, Johnny Meadows.

Bill is survived by his Wife, Ruth Ross of the home; Children, Deannie Watson and Billy Glenn Ross; Stepchildren, Susie Shelton and husband Roy and David H. Meadows; Brother Buddy Ross and wife, Arlene; Numerous other Family and Friends.
