Wilson - Services for Mr. William "Bo" Dale Hampton, 77, of Ardmore are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Hewitt Cemetery Pavilion of Wilson with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Military Honors will be performed by the Chickasaw Honor Guard Team. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
Bo was born on Feb. 8, 1941 at Madill to the late Mr. Virgil Monroe Hampton and Mrs. Ruby Lee (Johnson) Hampton. He departed this life on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Bo was raised at Kingston attending school there. He graduated high school from Kingston in 1960 and thereafter joined the United States Army. He served honorably as a supply clerk mostly in Europe. Once he received his discharge he returned to Kingston and began working for the Pants Factory as a Mechanic. He was employed there for over 40 years.
Bo was united in marriage to the former Maryion Eulalah (Dice) Beaver on Nov. 26, 1969 at Madill. They shared many wonderful years together working at the same Pants factory. They enjoyed going to camp meetings listening to gospel music and also enjoyed attending flea markets as often as they could.Bo always enjoyed driving a new vehicle and loved homemade ice cream. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
His wife Maryion preceded him in death on January 6, 2009. Also preceding him were his Parents; son in law, Richard Amant; sister, Virgie Wilkins; brother, Wilborn Hampton; sisters in law, Delois Dice and Mary Dice and brothers in law, Arvil Underwood, J.E. Dice and Narvin Dice.
Survivors include his daughters, Dianna Worden and husband Rick of Paoli and Vicky Howard and husband Randy of Ringling; sister, Alice Fay Underwood of San Angelo, TX; sisters in law, Rita Gustafason and Linda Hampton; brother in law, Leon Dice ; grandchildren, Craig Ray and wife Robbyn, April Turner, Kimberly Worden, Melissa Coffia and husband Kelly, Linsey Jamieson and husband Mitchell, Sean Robertson, and Jennifer Kinsey and husband Ben; great grandchildren, Jaylin, Kyren, Brooklyn, James, Bryar, Maggie, Chloe, Libby, Cactus, Ethan, Katy and Kyce; a host of nieces and nephews and other family.
Casket bearers are Sean Robertson, Craig Ray, James Norman, Bryar Norman, Kyren Turner, Ethan Kinsey, Ben Kinsey and Kelly Coffia.
Honorary Bearers are Kyce Robertson, Rick Worden and Cactus Ray.
Viewing and visitation will be held all day Tuesday from 11:00 am to 8:00 PM at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
