Wendy Gale Flynn

Services for Mrs. Wendy Gayle Flynn, 57, of Fox are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating.

Interment will follow at the Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Wendy Gale Flynn was born September 2, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Mr. Alfred Dela Cruz and Mrs. Candida “Della” (Rebuldela) Dela Cruz. She passed from this life Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Wilson, Oklahoma.

Wendy’s family moved to Healdton when she was young and she attended school there graduating in 1974.

Wendy married the love of her life Clinton Dale Flynn June 1, 1974.

They had two daughters Julie and Amber and two grandchildren Sylus and Lily Jo whom Wendy loved and adored.

She was presently a Cook at Fox High School where she worked many years, prior to her employment with Fox School System she was a carrier for the Daily Ardmoreite 5 years in Northwestern Carter County .Wendy loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren whenever she could. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, making diaper cakes, and sports. Wendy liked to cook big meals and have family dinners. She adored all the kids at school and cherished the moments spent with any baby.

Preceding her in death are her Parents and Parent in laws, Clinton and Garvene Flynn.

Survivors include her Husband of 39 years Clinton Dale Flynn of the home; Two Daughters, Julie Airington and husband Derrek of Graham, OK. , Amber Hall of Jacksonville, FL.; Two Grandchildren, Sylus Hall of Jacksonville, FL., Lily Jo Airington of Graham, OK.; Two Sisters Cynthia Calvalho of Hawaii, Lynnette White and husband Doug of Ringling, OK.; Six Brothers,

Alfred Dela Cruz Jr. and wife Jeanne of Waldorf, MD., Rodney Dela Cruz and wife Leilana of Kansas City, MO., Ronald Dela Cruz wife Carolyn of Jacksonville, FL., Donald Dela Cruz and wife Mary Ann of Deer Park, TX., Claude Swain and wife Terri of Lone Grove, OK., Michael Swain of Lone Grove, OK.; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

Pallbearers are Todd Drake, Bub Nix, Eddie Welch, Dustin Anderson, Ray Flick and Jamie

Griffin.

Family visitation will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Wilson Funeral Home
