Warner Newton Fellabaum

July 4, 1938 — January 11, 2024

Marietta - Memorial Services for Warner Newton Fellabaum, 85, of Marietta are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday Jan. 22, 2024, at the Maranatha Free Will Baptist Church of Ardmore with Bro. Leroy Holman officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home and Crematory.


Mr. Fellabaum was born July 4, 1938 in Tamaha, Oklahoma to Ward and Frankie (Henry) Fellabaum. He departed from this life Thursday Jan. 11, 2024, at Elmbrook Nursing Home of Ardmore.


Mr. Fellabaum initially was raised at Tamaha moving quite often following his father's employment in the Oil Patch. After settling at Ratliff City, he graduated in 1957 from Fox High School. Afterward he attended college at OSU for one year and then attended school at SOSU of Durant, where he achieved his Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics and thereafter earned his Master's degree from the University of South Carolina in 1966.


Mr. Fellabaum married the late Ms. Georgia Ann Pierce on July 23, 1960, at Ratliff City with his father presiding as the officiant. They resided in several states, following his teaching career, locating back to Oklahoma in 1975. Mr. Fellabaum subsequently served as the Marietta High School Mathematics Teacher until retiring. Upon his retirement in Oklahoma, he furthered his teaching profession at Callisburg, TX for 4 years and served as an adjunct instructor for Murray State College at Ardmore Higher Education. He always loved hunting, especially “duck hunting” and fishing. He was a member of the Maranatha Free Will Baptist Church of Ardmore.


He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Rhodes in 2017, nephew Mark Rhodes and his beloved wife Georgia Ann Fellabaum, on Nov. 17, 2022


He is survived by brothers, Joe Fellabaum and wife Bobbie, Spring, Tx, James Fellabaum and wife Patti, Roanoke Va.; son, George Fellabaum of Atoka, Ok; daughters Mary Beth Cavner and husband Dwight of Ardmore, Ok and Roberta Palmer and husband Dale of Ardmore, Ok; grandchildren, John Bret Robertson, wife Tara and daughter Cheyenne, Butte, Montana, Russell Clay Robertson, wife Kaylyn and daughters Kayleigh and Kora, of Hope Arkansas, and Haskell Trace Palmer, wife Emily and sons Sylas, Oliver, and Elijah, of Duncan, Oklahoma; numerous great-grandchildren and other family.
