Ringling - Funeral services for Wanda Faye Engelke, 76, of Ringling, are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Rev. Carl Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at the Dixie Cemetery of Stephens County.

Wanda was born on September 29, 1939 at Loco to the late Mr. Louis G. Engelke and Mrs. Lola Mae (Greenroyd) Engelke. She departed this life on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Duncan.

Wanda was raised in the Mountain Home community graduating from Mountain Home High School in 1957. She later moved to the Claypool area. After her father retired the family moved to Ringling in 1970. Wanda loved to attend the First Baptist Church in Ringling when she was able.

Preceding her in death were her Parents and a sister, Deloris Ann, who went to be with the Lord when she was a child.

Survivors include her brother, Joe Engelke and wife Ahonna of Hempstead, TX; 2 nieces, Rebecca Conde and husband Bill with their 4 daughters of Sugarland, TX and Andrea Richardson and husband Brian with their 2 daughters of Austin, TX; nephew, Paul Engelke of College Station, TX who currently attends Texas A&M; special cousins, Jearl and Judy Greeroyd of Ringling; numerous other family and friends.
