Virginia Mae Rasmussen

Virginia Mae (McGehee) Rasmussen, 79, was born on May 21, 1938 at Wheeler, OK to the late Mr. George A. McGehee and Mrs. Gertie B. (Knutson) McGehee. She departed this life on Friday May 11, 2018 at Whispering Oaks Nursing Home in Ardmore. Cremation services are under the care of Alexander Gray Crematory. A private inurnment will be at Keller Cemetery north of Wilson.

Virginia married Mr. Wayne "Pete" Rasmussen on July 31, 1962 at Ardmore. They resided in Delaware following his military career moving to Ardmore in 1977. Virginia retired as a Michelin employee. Pete preceded her in death on May 19, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her Parents and brothers Charles McGehee, Donald McGehee and George Leon McGehee.

Survivors include a sister in law, Alice Mae McGehee of Houston, Mississippi; special cousins, Debbie Hamilton and husband Al of Ardmore, Bobby Joe Davis of Ardmore, and niece, Tammy Whitt of Houston, Mississippi, and nephew Russell McGehee of Houston, Mississippi and numerous other family.
