Virginia M. Russell

Graveside services for Mrs. Virginia M. Russell, age 84, of Oklahoma City are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling, OK with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Virginia was born June 23, 1933 in Ringling, OK to the late Mr. George Washington Allen and Mrs. Minnie (Pitts) Allen. She departed from this life on Friday, November 17, 2017 at her home in Oklahoma City.

Mrs. Russell grew up in the Ringling area and later began working in a diner where she met her husband Raymond P. Russell, They made their home in San Antonio, TX. She was a cosmetologist and owned and operated Andreas Coiffure. Virginia enjoyed country dancing and shopping in her spare time.

She is preceded in death by her parents ; husband, Raymond P. Russell; brothers, Clarence, L.D., George Jr., Cartez, and Don Allen; sisters, Clara, Estelle, Ozella, and Amie.

Virginia is survived by her son, Kevin Russell and his wife Heather of Oklahoma City; grandsons, Austin Russell and wife DiAna of Panama City, Panama, and Blake Pittman of Oklahoma City; a special niece, Debbie Harper and husband Sonny of Oklahoma City; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
