Wilson-Graveside Funeral Services for Virginia Joyce Castleberry, 69, of Healdton will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday February 4, 2009 at Reck Cemetery with Scott Renfro officiating. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Virginia Joyce Castleberry was born January 9, 1940 in Healdton to the late Eli Hill and Nattie Marie Taylor. She passed away Sunday February 1, 2009 in Ardmore.

Joyce was born and raised in Healdton where she attended school. Joyce worked at the Healdton Nursing Home for a short time before she had to retire because of her health. She and Elmer Dwayne Castleberry were united in marriage August 11, 1978 in Healdton. Joyce dearly loved watching her Soap Operas daily and playing bingo. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. She was a member of the Church of Christ Church in Healdton.

Preceding her in death is her Parents- Eli and Nattie Hill and a Brother, Robert Hill.

Survivors include her Husband, Elmer Castleberry of the home, 1 Daughter Kristy Castleberry of the home, 5 Sons, Charlie Castleberry and Brandon Castleberry both of the home, Tim Blackwell and wife Terri, Billy Blackwell and wife Mary and Jimmy Blackwell and wife Debbie all of Ringling. 16 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Blackwell, Tim Blackwell, Jimmy Blackwell, Charlie Castleberry, James Castleberry and James Welch.

Family visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday February 3, 2009 at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
