Virginia Diane Dorson

Ratliff City - Graveside Services for Virginia Diane (Barnett) Dorson, 65 of Lone Grove are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Ratliff City Cemetery with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Virginia was born on March 15, 1952 at Duncan to the late Mr. Exie Barnett, Sr. and Mrs. Gladys Faye (Scott) Barnett. She departed this life Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Oklahoma City.

Virginia was raised at Fox attending school there graduating in 1971. Thereafter she mostly resided in the Lone Grove area with her mother Gladys. She and Gladys enjoyed sewing together and doing crafts. Virginia also enjoyed shopping.

Preceding her in death is her parents, Mr. Exie Barnett Sr. and Mrs. Gladys Perkins; brothers; Exie "JuJu" Jr., Danny and Derrell Barnett and a sister Barbara Smart.

Survivors include her daughter, Kerri Gentry of Ardmore; brother in law, Charlie Smart of Ardmore; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
