Lone Grove - Memorial Services for Virgil “Mac” Clinton, 59,of Lone Grove are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church of Lone Grove with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Virgil “Mac” Clinton was born September 1, 1960, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Mr. L.F. Clinton, Jr. and Mrs. Doris Marie (Denney) Clinton. He departed from this life on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Mac was raised in Lone Grove attending high School there, graduating in 1978. He worked in the Reamer business until the late 1980’s. Mac also went to work for Halliburton, Roy Neill’s hardware, constructing metal homes, Bob Elliot’s Saw Mill and most recently he was working as a welder. He really enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, grilling, and doing wood work. Mac was a jack of all trades.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Johnny Clinton, Sr. and sister-in-law, Brenda Clinton.

Mac is survived by his son, Casey Clinton and wife Jessica of Lone Grove; daughter, Crysti Ford and husband Brandon of Lone Grove; sister, Phyllis Maxwell and husband Michael of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Kaitlin Fine, Landon Clinton, Anna Ford, Anzleigh Gibson and Lee Gibson; nephews and niece, Johnny Clinton, Jr., Stephanie Clinton, and Michael Maxwell, Jr., and a host of great nieces and nephews, other family, and friends.
Honorary bearers will be Dennis Mullins, Bob Elliot, Derek Elliot, Reece Clinton, Russell Denney, and Jesse Clinton.
