Virgil "Allen" Coleman

Wilson - Private Graveside Services for Virgil "Allen" Coleman, 55 of Odessa, TX will be held at Hewitt Cemetery with his son, Wyatt Kody speaking. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Allen was born June 22, 1964 in Borger, TX to the late Mr. Thomas Cleveland Coleman and Mrs. Carla Sue (Nordman) Young. He received his heavenly body on March 22, 2020 in Odessa, TX.

Allen was raised in Wink, TX graduating from Wink High School and he also attended Odessa College. Allen married Mrs. Tammy Lynn Webb in Kermit, TX on October 21, 2006 whom he dated while they were teenagers. He was employed by McCoy's Building Supply for 28 years and the Yard Manager for 25 years. Allen was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and a Texas Longhorn fan. He loved nature, landscaping and bird watching. Allen was a historian at home and yearned for knowledge. He was loved and admired by many and touched the hearts and spirits of people around West Texas and beyond. Importantly, Allen had a relationship with Jesus that inspired and saved many. He will live on in the hearts of us all, so go rest high on that mountain; we will meet again.

Preceding him in death is his father, step father, Jim Young, brother, Troy Don and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Allen is survived by his wife, Tammy who he adored and cherished; son, Wyatt Kody of Dallas, TX; mother, Carla Young of Waurika; daughter, Aden Herrera of College Station, TX; brother, Benny Coleman; sisters, Penny Nimmo, Janet Turner, Kim Coleman McCool, and Melissa Coleman; 3 West Texas daughters, Crystal Russell, Stephanie Dando, and Amanda Yeary; 2 West Texas sons, Chris Livesay and Colin Sutton; grandsons, Shayd Dando and Isaac Rojas; and by many other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Crawford, Junior Crawford, John Crawford and Colin Sutton. Honorary bearers will be Derek Tarr and Jimbo Eastep.
