Wilson – Funeral Services for, Mr. Victor E. McMahan, 63, of Wilson is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday Dec. 17, 2013 at the Rexroat Baptist Church north of Wilson with Rev. Monte Dean and Les Hacker officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot at Simon Cemetery in Love County. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
Victor was born June 15, 1950 at Anadarko to the late Mr. Eddie McMahan and Mrs. Ilene (Dilbeck) McMahan. He went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Durant.
Victor lived most of his life at Wilson, residing on the family farm south of town. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1968. He and the former Ms. Diana Hodges were united in marriage on July 16, 1971 at Wilson. They made their home at Wilson raising their four boys, Greg, Lynn, David and Matt.
Victor was employed for Valero Refinery for over 30 years lastly working as a Lab Technician. He enjoyed residing on the farm where he liked grafting pecan trees and working in his shop. Victor will be remembered for his unvarying smile and polite mannerism. He was a true family man who adored all of his children and grandchildren and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilson.
Preceding him in Death were his Parents; Father in law, D.C. Hodges; Sisters in Law, Gail Grissom and Crystal Hodges.
Survivors include his loving wife Diana of the home; Sons, Greg McMahan and wife Marian, Lynn McMahan and wife Stacy all of Wilson, David McMahan and wife Nicole of Ardmore and Matt McMahan of Wilson; Sister, Carol Maxey of Anchorage, AK; Brothers, Michael McMahan and wife Pam of Edmond and Jeff McMahan and wife Deborah of Joy; Mother in law, Bonnie Hodges of Wilson, 6 Grandchildren, Ace, Lane, Racie, Garrett, Mattie and Ella; Sisters in law, Judy Van Eaton, Sherri Way and husband Tommy, Brenda Stone and husband John, Mindy Fox, Bonnie Jackson and husband Randall and Amy Hodges; Brother in laws, Dennis Hodges, Danny Hodges and Jacky Grissom; Numerous other family and a multitude of friends.
Casket Bearers are Donny Hacker, Les Hacker, Jack Kelly, Rick Eubanks, Hartford Hodges and Danny Hodges.
Honorary Bearers are Bob Longest, Tommy Brown, Joe Roberts, Co-workers of Valero Refinery and the Wilson High School Class of 1968.
Family visitation will be from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Monday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
