Vickie Carol Jones

Healdton - Funeral services for Mrs. Vickie Carol Jones, age 69, will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton, with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating.  Interment will follow to Mount Olive Cemetery. The arrangements are entrusted to Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

Vickie was born on January 26, 1955, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to Mr. Truman Jones and Mrs. Nancy Sue Singleterry. She departed this life on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at her residence in Healdton.

Raised primarily in Ratliff City, Vickie attended school in Fox, where she graduated with the class of 1973. Throughout her career, she held various positions, including bookkeeping and a notable 15-year tenure at Gulf Oilfield Services and Chevron Oilfield Services. Vickie was also a master gardener for the city of New Braunfels, Texas, and worked for a land development company. She was a beautiful woman inside and out traveling as a model statewide for high-end women's clothing. In 2008, she moved back to Oklahoma before relocating to Arizona to assist her brother Rick with his home while he worked internationally.

Vickie had a passion for gardening and was a dedicated supporter of the ASPCA, sharing her home with her beloved dogs. She cherished her time in Arizona and appreciated the beauty of nature.

She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Truman Jones. Vickie is lovingly remembered by her mother, Nancy Singleterry of Healdton; her brother, Rick Jones of Healdton; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.
