Vickie Diane (Griffin) Gaither

Vickie Diane (Griffin) Gaither, of Wilson, departed this life on Friday, March 18, 2022 at her residence near Wilson at the age of 65 years, 7 months, and 23 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Milo Baptist Church with Bro. Jamie Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at the Keller Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Vickie was born on July 26, 1956 in Ardmore to Mr. Robert Griffin and Mrs. Daloras (McCauley) Griffin.

She was raised in Wilson until her family moved to Healdton and she attended Fox High School her senior year and graduated with the Fox High School Class of 1974. Vickie then moved back to Wilson where she would make her home and raise her daughters. Vickie worked as a Land Agent for many years. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed scrapbooking, and genealogy. Vickie's favorite past time was being with her family and playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Milo Baptist Church.

Vickie is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Robert Griffin.

She is survived by her two daughters, Hollie Gunter and husband Erron of Wilson; April Gaither and Jeremiah Taylor of Ardmore; granddaughters, Harper and Heidi Gunter of Wilson; mother, Daloras (McCauley) Griffin-Martin of Healdton; brothers, Nolan Albrigtson of El Reno, Jamie Griffin and wife Reona of Fox, and Robbie Griffin and wife Clydie of Healdton; sisters, Yvonne Brown and husband Larry of Corum, and Kathie Baker and husband Doug of Cushing; Many other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Robbie Griffin, Josh Griffin, Jamie Griffin, Doug Baker, Nolan Albrigtson, Erron Gunter and Jeremiah Taylor.

Honorary casket bearer will be Dr. Garry N. McCauley.

Visitation is scheduled for 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2002 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
