Verna Lee Botts

Ratliff City - Cremation Services for Verna Lee (Earle) Botts, 84, of Ratliff City are under the care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ratliff City. She went to her heavenly home on Tuesday morning, May 28, 2024 at Elmbrook Nursing home in Ardmore at the age 84 years, 3 months and 1 day. 

Verna was born on February 27, 1940, at Shelton, WA to the late Everett Earle and Flossie Mae (Staniford) Earle. She was raised at Shelton, moving to Clovis, CA in 1966. She married the late Mr. Donald Botts in 1956, and they were blessed with three daughters. 

Verna worked at several occupations throughout her years, but primarily was an administrative assistant at nursing homes working many years alongside her husband Don caring for the elderly.  They moved to Oklahoma residing at Ratliff City in 2007, where she enjoyed attending church at the Living Word Tabernacle of Ratliff City. Always loved to shop and go out to eat and do word puzzles. In her younger years, she loved to dance and roller skating. Donald recently preceded her in death on April 11, 2024.

Also preceding her in death was her parents and half-sister - Joycella Edwards.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Dean and husband Ronald, Susan Ying and husband Robert and Sally Clark and husband Keith; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
