Vera Irene Clour

Milo - Funeral Services for Mrs. Vera Irene (Moody) Clour, 93 of Ratliff City are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Milo Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow to Mount Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.

Vera was born October 5, 1925 in Fletcher, OK to the late Mr. Dee Rutherford "Ret" Moody and Mrs. Nell (Witten) Moody. She departed from this life on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at her home in Ratliff City surrounded by her family.

Vera grew up in Cyril attending school there graduating in 1944. Soon after, she moved to this area in the late 1940's. She married the late Mr. Alton "Ray" Clour on May 17, 1947 in Henrietta, TX. Vera enjoyed traveling and helping with her husband with their business, Ray Clour Well Service that started in 1964 in Liberal, KS. She loved to read, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vera made afghans for all her family and was a devoted homemaker. She really enjoyed running around with her girlfriends.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Ray; daughter, Cherie Elaine Clour; brothers Bud and Jeep Moody.

Survivors include her sons, Alton "Corky" Ray Clour, Jr. of Tulsa, Casey Clour and wife Charlene of Lone Grove and Tracy "Red" Clour and wife Gayla of Springer; grandchildren, Tammy Colvin, Tricia Uribe, Greg Clour and wife Christie, Staci Smith and husband Drew, Kyle Clour and wife Nickey, Niki Clour, Eric Clour and wife Kaci Lou and Ryan Clour; great grandchildren, Geoffrey, Alyssa, Matthew, Justin, Audrey, Lola, Sayler, Jaci, Aiden and Athena; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Greg Clour, Kyle Clour, Eric Clour Ryan Clour, Drew Smith and Jimmy Hoggard.
Honorary bearers will be Chase Jennings, Steve Moody, Craig Moody and Chad Moody.
