Countyline - Funeral services for Mrs. Velma B. (Fagg) Deese, 92, of Countyline are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday April 25, 2014 at Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City with Reverend Ed Staggs officiating. Interment will follow at the Ratliff City Cemetery.

Velma was born October 7, 1921 at Tulsa to the late Mr. Clarence Fagg and Mrs. Lucy (Dayton) Fagg. She departed this life Monday April 21, 2014 at the Meridian Nursing Home.

Velma was raised in Seminole most of her younger life graduating from High School there. She moved to this area in the 1940's and resided here for the remainder of her life. She loved to sew, crochet and do ceramics. She was a hobby enthusiast and loved trying new things.

Preceding her in death were her Parents,; Son, William Clarence "Bill" Deese - 9/26/2005; Siblings, Milton Fagg, Jack Fagg, Robert Fagg and Violet Black.

Survivors include husband J.D. Deese of Countyline; Granddaughters, Peggy Giersz of Wauconda, IL and Carol Deese of Elmwood Park, IL; Sister Retha Stafford of Louisiana; Great Grandchildren, Shawn, Jessica, Nicholas and Eric; Numerous great great grandchildren and other family.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
