Ringling-Graveside Services for Mrs. Vada Mae (McCutcheon) Davis, 84, of Oklahoma City are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday July 15, 2015 at Orr Cemetery with Rev. Tyler Shores officiating. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Vada was born on March 24, 1931 to the late Mr. Elmer Lee McCutcheon and Mrs. Venetta (Mitchell) McCutcheon. She passed from this life on Monday, July 13, 2015.

Vada was raised mostly in California. She met and soon married the love her life Bill O’Niel Davis in courtside, Arizona. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1951 from California. Vada was a devoted homemaker who loved gardening and flowers. She sewed all of her daughter’s dresses, being quite the seamstress and she also loved to bake. Her favorite thing of all was spending time with her grandson.

Preceding her in death is her Parents; infant son; brothers, Leo and Carl Gene McCutcheon; sisters, Verda Walliser and Susie Howard.

She is survived by her husband, Bill O’Niel Davis of Oklahoma City; daughters, Betty Jo Pickett and husband Larry of Newalla, Brenda Clay and husband Gale of Oklahoma City; sisters, Geneva Burgess of Clovis, NM, Pauline Alford of Port Hueneme, CA, and Betty Snook of Marysville, CA; brother, Jack McCutcheon of Marysville, California; grandson, Randy Clay and wife Dawn of Norman; Great grandchildren, Adara and Kayla Clay of Noble.

Family visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 AM-12 PM at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
