Troy Daniel Lawson

Wilson - Troy Daniel Lawson of Lone Grove departed this life on July 4th, 2022 at Baptist Integris Hospital of Oklahoma City at the age of 53 years, 11 months, and 1 day. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday July 7, 2022 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson with Bro. Jim McLaughlin officiating. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
Troy was born on August 3, 1968 in Lawton, OK to Mr. Everett Daniel Lawson and Mrs. Karen LaNelle (Nolen) Lawson.

Troy started school at Sterling and then attended Fletcher Schools until the 4th grade. He attended Plainview School until mid six grade and then moved attended Lone Grove until graduating with the Lone Grove High School Class of 1986. After graduation, Troy enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served his country for three years. After returning from the Army he went to work for the Joe Brown Company as a Heavy Equipment Operator and would later retire from Carter County as an equipment operator. Troy loved hunting especially deer and fishing. Troy met the love of his life Kandy on March 11, 2014 and they have made their home together in Lone Grove.

He is preceded by his paternal grandparents, Bryson and Jennie Lawson and maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Ida Lee Nolen.

Troy is survived by his wife, Kandy Lawson of the home; children, Josh Lawson and wife Charlee of Mead, OK, Dustin Lawson of Lone Grove; Heather Lawson of Healdton, and Piper Lawson of Healdton; parents, Everette and Karen Lawson of Lone Grove; sister, Vicki Campbell and Husband Gary of Marietta; Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
