Tony "Shaggy" Rainer

Wilson - Memorial services for Tony "Shaggy" Rainer, aged 65, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 4, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel.

Tony was born on January 21, 1959, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to the late Aubrey Gene Rainer and Janette (Blundell) Rainer. He passed away peacefully in his home on December 30, 2024.

Raised in Southern Oklahoma, Tony attended and graduated from Dickson High School in 1977. He later pursued vocational training in Auto Body, which laid the foundation for his lifelong career in auto mechanics. He explored various aspects of the profession, having driven trucks for a period before specializing in motorcycle modifications, a pursuit he greatly enjoyed. Tony had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, participating in bike runs and sharing memorable moments with friends. He also had a fondness for poker and was an enthusiastic participant in the game show Jeopardy! where he loved to demonstrate his knowledge.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Clara Richardson and Audrey Rainer, and brother Steven Rainer. He is survived by his daughter Jaclyn Burkhart and her husband Eric; his son Jeremy Rainer and his wife Drew; six grandchildren, Taygen, Cooper, and Kimber Burkhart, Jacob, Katelyn, and Madison Rainer; along with a multitude of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
