March 27, 1941 — September 10, 2016

Ringling - Funeral Services for Mr. Tommy J.A. " Red" McCauley, 75, of Cornish are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ Gospel Tabernacle with Bro. Johnny Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery of Ringling. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Red was born on March 27, 1941 at Dundee to the late Mr. Tom McCauley and Mrs. Nellie Jo (Bryant) McCauley. He departed this life on Saturday morning, Sept. 10, 2016 at his home in Cornish.

Red was a native to this area, residing here his entire life. He attended school at Ringling and left early to help support his family. At the age of 17, Red married the former Ms. Alice Charlene Baldwin, who was 16 yrs old in 1958. They were soon blessed with two daughters, Fran and Becky.

Red worked at Uniroyal Tire Mfg for many years. His wife Alice preceded him in 1979. Red soon after quit working at Uniroyal and began an adventurous career in the Oilfield. He traveled all over the world drilling for Oil on land and offshore rigs. Later in his retirement, Red loved to share stories of these experiences. During this time he married the former Ms. Boonthun "Boon" Ekwongsa on March 30th 1982 at the Gospel Tabernacle in Ringling.

During Reds retirement he enjoyed raising his goats, telling stories and visiting throughout the town with all of his friends. He enjoyed serving his community on the Cornish Town Board where ever one knew they could rely on him. He loved to fish and enjoyed attending all his grandson Allen's sporting events and was very close to his canine buddy "Hobo".

Preceding him in death were his Parents; wife Alice (Baldwin) McCauley; sister, Rebecca " Butch" Bryant; nephew, Mike McCauley; son in law, Dan J. Patrick; granddaughter, Brandi Collier and a brother in law, Boog Bryant.

Survivors include his wife "Boon" of the home; daughters, Fran Worsham and husband Danny of Ringling and Becky Collier and husband Scott of Miami, TX; brother, L.L. "Bub" McCauley and wife Ann of Ringling; 6 grandchildren, Casey Miller, Erin Edwards, Corrie Patrick, Allen Patrick, Jessie Smith and Savannah Collier; 13 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Glenda Cusher, Tommy Bryant and LeeAnn McCauley; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Lyndal Van Buskirk, Frank Van Buskirk, Doug White, Bob Earl Stewart, Allen Patrick and Danny Worsham.

Honorary Bearers are Sonny Stewart, Scott Skinner, Tommy Bryant, Scott Collier, Greg Miller, Steven Edwards, Colby Van Buskirk, Brian Thompson and Kevin Smith.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday Evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
