Tommy Dean Loveall, of Velma, passed from this life on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Duncan, OK after a long illness at the age of 85 years, 0 months, and 26 days. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Velma.
Tommy was born on June 14, 1936 in Wilson, OK to the late Mr. Paul R. Loveall and Mrs. Edith (Tucker) Loveall.
Tommy enlisted in the Unites States Airforce in 1955 and proudly served his country. After returning home to his hometown of Lindsay, he married Ms. Ruth Thompson on February 8, 1958 in Lindsay, OK and they have been together the past 64 years. Tommy had a smile that would light up a room, a good sense of humor and was the master of one liners.
Tommy was employed at Halliburton for 26 years and Velma Alma Public Schools for 16 years retiring at the age of 68 after having by pass surgery.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Billie Jo Weidler and Norma June Tenpenny; two brothers, Ralph and Paul Loveall.
Mr. Loveall is survived by his wife Ruth (Thompson) Loveall of the home; sons, Tommy Jr. Loveall of Velma; Gary Loveall and wife Sharon of Lawton, Jerry Loveall and wife Jana of Velma; daughters, Paula Alderman and husband Randy of Marlow, Judy Edwards and husband Matthew of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Linda Manning and husband Dwight of Ft. Worth; 8 grandchildren, Casey and Amy Kirkpatrick, Kellie and Kaylie Alderman, Cody and Brittney Loveall, Lindsay Loveall, Jeremy and Shannon Loveall, Josh Loveall, Matthew Edwards and Chris Irwin, 2 great grandchildren, Caden Ellis and Cohen Loveall. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
