Mr. Tommy Lee Carter, aged 60, passed away at his home in Ratliff City on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Cremation services are being handled by Alexander Gray Velma Chapel.
Tommy was born on June 19, 1964, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Gerald Carter, Sr. and Frankie "Sue" (Hatcher) Carter. He spent much of his childhood in the Oklahoma City area, where he completed his high school education at Capital Hill High School. Throughout his life, Tommy dedicated himself to the service industry, notably with Ninos Mexican Restaurant, where he progressed from wait staff to management, demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment.
In addition to his career, Tommy enjoyed a variety of activities, including fishing, camping, and visiting casinos. He had a passion for movies and music, frequently attending concerts to indulge in his love for entertainment.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father; his grandmother, Lois Deatherage; his aunt, Alma Wilkerson; and Shorty Elliot Carter.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Carter; his sisters, Tinia Hall and husband Pete, and Tana Treaster; his nephew, Chance and Cody Hall; nieces Lea Sikes, Heather Hawkins, and Jeanie Hall; great nieces Hagan & Jocie Hall and Tagen Sikes; great nephew Jasper Hall; as well as many cherished cousins and friends.
Tommy Lee Carter will be remembered for his warm spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. His family and friends celebrate his life and the memories shared.
