Thomas “Tom” Elvin Bevill

Ringling - Memorial Inurnment Services for Thomas Elvin Bevill, 81, are scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK with Dewey Taylor officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander-Gray Crematorium of Ringling.

Tom was born September 21, 1933 at Cache, OK to the late Mr. Jim Bevill and Mrs. Beulah Ferguson Bevill. He departed this life Monday, June 1, 2015 in Ardmore.

Tom was raised in Cache, OK and joined the U.S. Army in 1953. He served honorably until May 12, 1955. Tom ran ammunition to the soldiers on the front line during the Korean War. Most of Tom’s working years were spent working in Auto Salvage Yards and tinkering with automobiles. He was also an accomplished Carpenter and was always one to stay busy and enjoyed being outside.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a stillborn infant son.

Survivors include his daughter, Darla Jo Taylor and husband Gary of Ringling; 1 sister; 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild on the way; numerous other family and friends.
