Tom was born December 15, 1964 at Richmond, California to Raymond Lee and Carol Florine (Brown) Howell. He departed this life Thursday June 19, 2008 at Ardmore, OK.
Tom was a Veteran of the United States Army Reserves serving honorably for 6 years. He moved to Oklahoma, first living at Lone Grove where he owned and operated his own Transmission Shop for several years. Later he was employed for Bargers in Lone Grove as a mechanic. He married the former Gwendolyn Thompson January 16, 1998 at Jacksonville, North Carolina. They resided at several various places across the United States before moving back to Wilson just 3 years ago. Tom always enjoyed Fishing, Drag Racing and working on Hot Rods.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Mrs. Carol (Bown) Howell April 9, 1997.
Survivors include his wife Gewndolyn Sue (Taylor) Howell of the home, Daughter, Lacey Floyd of Wilson, 2 Sons, Steven Thompson and wife Courtney of Ringling, and Jeremy Thompson of Wilson. Father, Ray Howell and Step Mother Paula Howell of Wilson. 3 Grandsons, and 3 Granddaughters, and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Steven Thompson, Jeremy Thompson, Craig Tatro, Rick Armstrong, Carl Bishop, and Dustin Haught.
