Growing up in Healdton, Terri attended the local school and proudly graduated with the class of 1970. This foundation paved the way for a career marked by significant contributions to the educational sector. Terri dedicated many years to local schools in Moore, Oklahoma, working within the administration department. Her professionalism and leadership were further demonstrated through various management roles, most notably at TeachWare, where she excelled as a manager in selling educational software. On August 31, 1996, Terri married Mr. Claud Green in a heartfelt ceremony in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Their partnership of 25 years was filled with love and mutual respect, and it was a period that defined much of her adult life. In her pursuit of making a difference, Terri was an active member of the Education Support Personnel of Oklahoma, where she took on the role of delegate at their national meeting in Washington, DC. Her commitment to education continued when she resided in Ardmore and worked at Ardmore Schools in the special education department, ultimately retiring in 2022. In a testament to her enduring spirit, Terri found love again and married Nick Ellis on January 27, 2023, in Ardmore. Together, they made their home in Wilson, creating new memories and sharing joys. Terri was known for her passions outside of work as well. A devoted fan of the University of Oklahoma, she passionately followed football, softball, and basketball. Her love for animals was evident in her actions, as she committed herself to rescuing dogs in need, embodying the kindness and compassion she was known for.
