Teresa Gayle Mitchell

Ringling - Funeral Services for Mrs. Teresa Gayle (Miller) Mitchell, 60 of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Church on the Rock with Bro. Joe Taylor officiating. Interment will follow to Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Teresa was born April 16, 1960 in Ringling, OK to Mr. Alford D.C. Miller and Mrs. Donna Dean (Camplain) Miller. She departed from this life on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her home in Ringling.

Teresa was raised in Ringling and attended school there. She married Mr. Ronnie Mitchell on August 18, 1978 in Ringling. They resided in Cornish where they raised their 3 boys. Shortly before Steven was born, Teresa obtained her GED and pursued her degree in nursing career working for several different nursing homes in the area. Lastly, Teresa became an activity director for the nursing homes which she enjoyed the most. She was a mother first not just to her kids but to all the neighborhood kids as well. Teresa spent most of her family time with her Ronnie and the kids fishing, not just for a few hours but days. She had the best hospitality, always making sure everyone had something to eat which she loved to cook. Teresa loved her children and grandchildren and any of the activities they were all in. She enjoyed humming birds and just being outside.

Preceding her in death is her mother, Donna Madewell; step father, Charles Madewell; brother, Roger Miller; grandmother, Momma Mae; and niece, Cheyenne Madewell.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Ronnie of the home; sons, Jody Mitchell and wife Amanda of Sulphur, Randy "Bubba" Mitchell of Ringling, and Steven Mitchell of Ringling; daughter, Samantha Mitchell of Oklahoma City; daughter in law, Stefanie Mitchell of Ringling; father, Alford Miller of Ringling; siblings, Dennis Miller and wife Betty of Healdton, Vonda Gardner and husband David of Ardmore, Don Miller and wife Donna of Ringling, Susan Smith and husband Kenny of Ringling, Rishay Carr of Cornish and Lori Patton and husband Roger of Caddo; grandchildren, Cierra, Quinton, C.J., Dillon, Kaitlynn, Bo, Mayson, Aiden, Charity, Wesley, Carley, Hope, Rianna, Nevaeh, Whitney, and Keith Jr.; 2 great grandchildren; canine dog, Sissy; several nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Jeff Smith, Mark Gardner, Jacob Gardner, Forrest Mitchell, Dakota Mitchell and T.J. Branch.

Family visitation is scheduled for Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

In Lieu of flowers, the family ask that monetary donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral cost.
