Teresa Dawn (King) Hayes

Wilson – Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Teresa Dawn (King) Hayes 54, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday July 18, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. John Genn officiating, and Eulogy by Charles Whipple.

Mrs. Teresa Dawn Hayes was born July 20, 1960 at Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Billie Charles King and Mrs. Dovie Pearl (Stewart) King. She departed this life Monday, July 13, 2015 in Oklahoma City.

Teresa was raised mostly at Lone Grove, attending school there as part of the class of 1978. She was blessed with a daughter, Keisha, and went to college studying to be an RN while residing in Lone Grove. The majority of her working years were spent in home health care. She was blessed with a son, Derick 10 years after Keisha which made her family complete. Teresa loved arrowhead hunting, mushroom hunting, and spending time with her grandsons.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her Brother, Billy Charles King, Jr. on May 19, 2006.

Survivors include her husband, Keith Allen Hayes of New Mexico; daughter, Keisha Miller of Oklahoma City; two sons, Derick Robinson and Charles Whipple both of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Dylan Baker of Lone Grove, Landon Miller of Ardmore; sisters, Debra Shans and husband Billy of Lone Grove, Tonya Brown and husband Kris of Lone Grove; brother, Herman King and wife Debbie of Lone Grove; numerous nieces and nephews.

Casket Bearers are Dylan Baker, Landon Miller, Jeremy Brown, Daniel King, Charles Whipple, and Chuck Stewart.

Honorary bearers are Jack Barker, Paul Whipple, Kolby Robinson, Michael King, Misty Robb, and Keith Hayes.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
