Teresa Cordelia Kelley of Lone Grove departed this life on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 5 days. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Coulterville, CA. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton, OK.
Teresa was born in Sonora, CA on January 23, 1952 to the late Mr. Jack Lee Kelley and Mrs. Mary Josephine (Wilson) Brereton. She had lived in California most of her life. She moved to Oklahoma 6 years ago after coming here to visit and falling in love with the area. Teresa and her spouse Jerry Brown owned and operated a bar and grill outside of the small mining town of Coulterville, CA for several years and always enjoyed visiting with the bikers traveling in and out of Colorado. Teresa was very active and always stayed busy with crafting projects such as making and painting ceramics, she was a talented seamstress and made many OSU/OU teddy bears. She was a member of the Reenactors Guild, Coulterville Claim. Teresa had also been a florist and a certified nutritionist.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived her spouse of thirteen years, Jerry Brown of the home; two sisters, Ruthie Howard of Sonora, CA and Lou Ellen Slaughter of Burley, ID; nephew, Robert Slaughter of Burley, ID; Many other relatives and a host of friends.
