Wilson - Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Terence "Terry" Vaughn Sisco, 70, of Lone Grove is scheduled for 2:00 PM Wed. October 25, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Wayne Warthen officiating and Celeste Tucker Armistead providing the Eulogy. Military Honors will be provided by the Chickasaw Honor Guard Team. A reception following the service will be at their home hosted by family and friends.
Terry was born May 27, 1947 in El Campo, Texas. His parents were Mr. Louis Shannon and Mrs. Dagny (Thyssen) Sisco. He passed away at home on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Terry graduated from Wilson High School in 1965. He joined the United States Air Force in 1966 and served until 1970, serving time in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated Veteran, loved the military, and loved serving his Country. After receiving his pilot’s license at the Ardmore Air Park he flew crop dusters and corporate jets. In 1987 he went to work at E-Systems in Greenville, Texas. After two years he left and went to work at Southwest Airlines. While at Southwest he was a certified aircraft mechanic and quality control inspector. After 25 years, he retired on August 20, 2014 so he could live his life in the country with Coelene, the woman of his dreams! Terry and Coelene (Rutledge) Guinn were married on February 7, 2014 at Blue Ribbon Missionary Baptist Church. Taking care of and making Coelene happy was his greatest joy.
Terry and Coelene enjoyed traveling in their motor home across the United States. They met and made many friends along the way. Terry enjoyed working on their property on his tractor keeping everything beautiful and immaculate. Terry enjoyed going to church and was a member of Blue Ribbon Missionary Baptist Church and he loved his church family.
Terry was preceded in death by his Mother Dagny Sisco and his Father Louis Sisco.
He is survived by his wife Coelene of Lone Grove, sister Karen Sisco Snow and husband Gary, Brother-in-law Don Rutledge and wife Reeva and family, special niece Leslie Price and husband Steve and their kids Kara, Matt, Mattox and Reid Idleman, Kevin, Megan and Stratton Price, Stacey, Easton, Harper and Hud Healey. Nieces Joanie King, Karen Lambert, Ines Munchrath, Trisha Stone, and Donna Walker. Nephews Frank Taylor and Monty Kessler; special friends James Brantley, Shannon and Karla Houchin, and Troy Dodd. Family by choice, brothers Jim Tucker and wife Jane, Lee Sewell and wife Patsy, Wayne Arnold and wife Virgie, Butch Smith and wife Bonnie, Firmin Wiley, Bill Baker and wife Stacy, and Terry Kinyon and wife Pam. Bonus daughter Celeste Tucker Armistead, husband Mike and daughter Tucker Kate.
