Tana Kay (Kasterke) Grant

Tana Kay (Kasterke) Grant, of Healdton, departed this life on September 1, 2021 at her residence in Healdton at the age of 78 years, 1 month, and 3 days. A time of visitation and fellowship will be held on 6 - 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton. A zoom memorial will also be held by the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of the Healdton Congregation. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Tana was born on July 29, 1943 in Kansas City, KS to the late Mr. David Kasterke and Mrs. Marjorie Reynolds.

She primarily grew up in Marshfield and Seymour, Missouri. Tana was a loving mother and excellent grandmother. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Tana always made sure her family was taken care of. Tana was a devout member of the Healdton Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was proud of her faith and loved her church and fellowshipping with other members. She was always putting others first and would help anyone in need. Tana had several different occupations but most recent she had been a caregiver and housekeeper. She enjoyed being on the go with Diane O'Mara and staying busy.

Tana is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Keith O'Mara, Dean O'Mara, and David Kasterke.

She is survived by her sons, Scott McGavern of Healdton; Joseph McGavern and Rose of San Marcos; grandchildren, Carissa McGovern of Healdton, Christopher McGavern of San Marcos, Zachary McGavern of San Marcos; great grandchildren. Aidan Hays, and Paisley Melton; sister in law, Diane O'Mara of Healdton. Many other relatives and a host of friends.
