Leon - Graveside services for Tammy Michelle Gilbert, 41 of Lone Grove are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Leon Cemetery with Rev. Bill Black officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Tammy was born in Healdton on May 11, 1976 to Mr. Charles Edward Gilbert and Mrs. Donna Mitchell. She passed from this life on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Ardmore.

Tammy was raised at Lone Grove graduating from Lone Grove High School in 1995.She enjoyed playing softball during her younger years. Tammy worked initially with the handicap providing healthcare and later was a sales lady for several local businesses. She loved to go shopping and was a fashion specialist who was always very organized. Tammy loved to do arts and crafts and decorate her house.

Survivors by her father, Charlie "Hambone" Gilbert of Lone Grove; mother, Donna Mitchell of Ardmore; daughter, Lexie Paige Gilbert of Lone Grove; son, Hunter Blue of Shawnee; sister, Shannon Hall of Ardmore; brother, Shawn Sessums and wife April of Marlow; other siblings, Jessica, Kevin, and Michael Tynes; grandmother, Georgia Mitchell of Healdton; special friend, Rick Breckett of Lone Grove and other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Gilbert, Jeff Cavener, Greg Gilbert, Dal Gilbert, Joe Russell and Willie Russell.
