Wilson – Funeral Services for Mrs. Tammy Jean Wright, 40, of Wilson is scheduled for 10 am Thursday January 13, 2011 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with her Father, Mr. Warren Wright and Rev. Josh Gunter officiating. Interment will follow at the Reck Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Tammy was born October 21, 1970 at Ardmore to Mr. Warren G. Wright and Mrs. Linda Lou ( Hefner) Wright. She departed this life Sunday, January 9, 2011 at her residence in Wilson.

Tammy was raised in Wilson and resided here all of her life. She was employed as a certified nurse’s assistant and lastly worked at the Healdton Nursing Home. The past twelve years she has provided care for her grandmother, Betty. Tammy enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and hanging out with her friends. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceding her in death are her Grandparents; E.L. Wright, Jewel Proctor and Carl “Tubby” Hefner and Uncle David Wright.

Survivors include her Mother, Linda King and husband Perry of Ardmore, Father, Warren Wright and wife Brenda of Wilson, Grandmother, Betty Hefner of the home, Uncles and Aunts; Carl Hefner of Nashville, TN, Merle and Brenda Emerson and Thomas Emerson all of Wilson.

Pallbearers are Thomas Emerson, Eric Gaines, Merle Emerson and Johnny Turner.

Family visitation will be held Wed. Evening from 5-7pm at the funeral home in Wilson.
