Healdton

Healdton - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Tammie Lou (Grover) Stewart, who left this world at the age of 66 on March 5, 2025, in her cherished home in Healdton, Oklahoma. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton, officiated by Rev. Dan Stewart.

Tammie was born on February 22, 1959, in Nocona, Texas, to the late Mr. Mike Grover and Mrs. Dorothy (Lance) Grover. She grew up in Texas, where she graduated from Arlington High School in 1977. On March 11, 1983, Tammie married her beloved husband, Clarence Dennis Stewart, and together they created a warm and loving home in Healdton.

As a devoted homemaker, Tammie's unwavering love and dedication to her family were evident in all that she did. She cherished every moment spent educating and nurturing their children, fostering an environment filled with love and support. Tammie's faith was an integral part of her life; she was a devoted Christian and an active member of the Generations Church in Ardmore, where she not only worshiped but also shared her love for music as a member of the church's music team.

A gifted songwriter and singer, Tammie's passion for music was a defining aspect of her life. She created and performed her own compositions, finding joy in sharing her gift with others. Her artistic spirit flourished through her love of singing, opera, crocheting, art, and bird watching, weaving a tapestry of creativity and beauty in her life.

Tammie will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 42 years, Dennis, and their cherished children: Josh and Tonya Rangel of Ardmore, Brittney and Micah Obal, and Zac and Lorena Stewart, both of Tulsa. She adored her grandson, Lance Rangel, and leaves behind her caring siblings, Tanya and Chris Humphrey, and Sanda and Doug Noland, along with her nephew Trent Humphrey, her niece Stephanie Hoover and her son Miguel, and a host of other family and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

While Tammie has been preceded in death by her parents, her spirit continues to shine brightly in the lives she touched. We invite you to share your memories and celebrate her remarkable legacy online at www.alexandergrayfh.com.
