Tammie Ann Treadwell

August 29, 1964 — January 9, 2014

Healdton – Funeral Services for Tammie Ann (Taylor) Treadwell, 49, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Healdton Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jeff Hiller and Rev. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Olive Cemetery of Healdton. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Tammie was born August 29, 1964 to Mr. George Arthur Taylor and Mrs. Diedre (Garrison) Taylor. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday afternoon January 9, 2014.

Tammie was raised at Wanette, OK where she attended school and graduated in 1982. She then attended college at Rose State where she studied business. She and Mr. Stephen Treadwell were united in marriage on September 10, 1983 at the United Methodist Church of Purcell. They resided at Norman initially and later moved to Keystone Lake near Tulsa. There she worked as an area sales manager for Dillard’s. They moved to Healdton on July 1, 1990 and soon opened their personal Family Health Clinic. Tammie worked diligently as the Office Manager for 17 years.

Beyond the office, Tammie was quite the shopper. She loved going to Ardmore everyday and traveling to Norman to shop on Saturdays. She was very involved in the Healdton United Methodist Church. She loved preparing meals for everyone and enjoyed decorating the Church and as well in her home. She always made sure everyone had a meal. She loved to garden, even though sometimes it didn’t work out, and she adored her flowers. Her favorite flower was a yellow rose in which Stephen occasionally made sure she had plenty. Tammie was truly a blessing to everyone she knew or came in contact with and will be sorely missed for her kindness and generosity which she always expressed to everyone. She was a devout member of the Healdton United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death was her Father in Law, Bob Treadwell; Uncle, Dick Moore; and Grandmother, Meredith Garrison.
