Syble Lorene (Abshire) Lyle

Graveside services for Syble Lorene (Abshire) Lyle, 92, of Ringling, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Orr Cemetery with Ellen Abshire officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling. 

Syble Lyle, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, was born August 27, 1932, in Orr, Oklahoma, to the late Mr. Seaton Abshire and Mrs. Rosie Lee (Farris) Abshire. After a life filled with love and cherished moments, Syble departed this world on October 14, 2024, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Syble’s heart was as big as her garden, where she cultivated not only vegetables but a plethora of beautiful flowers. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her green thumb, as she dedicated her life to caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a special gift for sewing, often creating clothes for her children, and her passion for cooking was only rivaled by her love for family gatherings. Her fishing trips were filled with laughter and love.

Syble was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Lyle, and her daughter, Vicki Acox; granddaughter, Jenny Trammel; grandson, Chuck Acox. She also reunited with her siblings: Clyde, Short, Clarence, Oscar, and Earnest, and sisters Geneva, Lottie, Bonnie, Sherry, Dorthy, Letha, and Linda, who have lovingly welcomed her into their embrace.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Lynda Eubanks and her husband Dale from Ringling, Susan Williamson from Marlow, Sheila Hale and her husband Tim from Ringling, Nancy Holland and her husband Danny from Marlow, Tracy Roberts from Orr, and Natasha Bishop from Ringling. Her family tree continues to flourish with her cherished grandchildren, including Rodney Eubanks, Lacy Acox, Bryson Williamson, Bradley Williamson, Chris Black, Theresa Barton, Elissa Hale, Toby Parker, Shawn Parker, Summer Parker, and Mikki Roberts, Tia Bishop, Trae Bishop, and Tyler Bishop; along with numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who were fortunate enough to call her "Grandma"; her siblings, Ikie Abshire, Virginia Johnson, and Joy Gonzales, as well as countless nieces, nephews, and friends. Her legacy will forever be remembered in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.

Pallbearers will be Bryson Williamson, Bradley Williamson, Rodney Eubanks, Toby Parker, Dylon McGee, Shawn Parker, Trae Bishop, Tyler Bishop, and Chris Black.

Honorary bearers are Danny Holland, Dale Eubanks, Freddie Williamson, and Tim Hale.
