Susan Pierce

Burneyville, OK - Mrs. Susan Pierce, 69 was born October 13, 1954 in Modesto, CA to the late Mr. Hershel Clay Hankins and Mrs. Frances (Thompson) Hankins.  She departed from this life on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK.  Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.  Family will have a memorial service at a later date. 

Susan was raised in California, attended school at San Juan King Valley.  She spent a lot of her younger years helping her grandparents in their harvest work.  When she was 23 years old, she was blessed with a daughter, Bobbysue and at the age of 25 she was blessed with a son, Easter Angel who preceded her in death at birth.  Susan married Mr. Ricky Pierce on July 4, 1991 in Love County, OK in Rickeys momma's front yard surrounded by family.  She worked as a nurse's aide, a Blackjack supervisor at Win Star, a cook at the Falconhead Restaurant, but the majority of her life she was a journeyman seamstress for herself and for the Ardmore Airport.  Susan enjoyed her family which was her pride and joy.

Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant brother, an infant son, Easter Angel; and brothers, Harold, Billy and Richard Hankins. 

Susan is survived by her husband, Rickey Pierce; daughter, Bobbysue Pierce (Darrin); grandchildren, Harley Pierce (Shae) and their children, Raynee, Guthrie, and Birdie, and Dakota Pierce (Mel); son in law, Billy Pierce (Chy) and their family, 3 canine babies; close friend, LaDona Tadlock; and by a host of other family and friends.
