Ringling - Funeral Services for Mr. Steven James "Rooster" Henry, 43, of Ringling, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 23, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Ringling with Bro. Billy Holder officiating with Bro. Mike Williams assisting. Interment will follow to Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Rooster was born April 2, 1976 to Mr. Stephen Lewis Henry and Mrs. Kathie Diann Jones Henry in Michigan City, IN. He departed from this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in Ringling.

Rooster was raised in Ringling attending school there as part of the 1994 class. He enjoyed working with his Uncle John Luke Neble and Austin Cattle Co. Currently he was working with Wade Pecans. Rooster loved to tinker with motors and cars. He enjoyed riding bulls and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Rooster was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Ringling at the age of 13.

Preceding him in death is his father, Stephen Henry on November 9, 2019; grandparents; uncles, Dan and Paul Henry.

Rooster is survived by his mother, Kathie Henry of the home; sister, Stacy Henry of Ringling; brother, Gerald Emerick and wife Almeda of Loco; special nephew, Tyler Emerick of Ringling and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other family.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Emerick, Tyler Emerick, Garrett Emerick, Johnny Law, Davey Law and Dylan Arbuckle.
Honorary bearers will be Greg Hawkins, Rhett Odell, Kupper Henry, his nieces and Michael Brown.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 P.M. Sunday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
