Shirley Elizabeth Lamascus

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley "Lizzie" Elizabeth Lamascus, 77 of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Joshua Adams officiating. Interment will follow to Orr Cemetery.

Lizzie was born March 12, 1944 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Arthur Finis Lamascus and Mrs. Vida Etta (Mays) Lamascus. She departed from this life on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home in Wilson.

Lizzie was raised in Orr attending school there. She enjoyed going out with family and helping with her nieces and nephews. She loved to write, her cats, and of course Elvis Presley. The thing she would most look forward to is Sunday dinners with the family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Pearline Glenn and Cleta Jo Whitener; and brother, Vernon Lamascus.

Lizzie is survived by her sister, Janice Adams of the home; special sister in law, Dorothy Lamascus; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Evan Wilkinson, Faith Bolles Murphy, Jacob Riley, Kyle Simmons, Jason Simmons, and Leyton Riley. Honorary bearers will be her nephews, Allen Adams, Billy Whitener, Dewayne Adams, Homer Adams, and Richard Adams.
