Sherry Lynn Wade

Funeral Services for Sherry Lynn Wade, 60, of Ringling is scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday April 8, 2009 at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Jimmy Morris officiating. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.

Sherry was born November 8, 1948 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Charles Chesley and Mrs. Geneva Cordelia (Lyle) Wade. She departed this life Monday April 6, 2009 at her home in Ringling.

Sherry was raised at Ringling, attending school here and graduating High School in 1969. She resided in Ringling her entire life, owning and operating “Wades Drive Inn’ for 28 years. Sherry very much cherished her family and grandchildren. She also loved spending time on her back porch. She enjoyed working in her garden and yard and often liked playing volleyball with her family. Sherry’s life revolved her boys and she cherished her grandchildren, Matthew and Mason.

Preceding Sherry in death is her Parents, Brother, Boyd Wade and most recently her son Brock Boyd Nell, October 17, 2008.

Survivors include son, Justin Paul and wife Amie of Ringling, Sister, Sue Henley and husband Earnest of Dallas. Brothers, Duane Wade and wife Barbara of Waurika, Dink Wade and wife Sheryl of Ringling and Richard Wade of Dallas. Grandsons, Matthew and Mason Paul of Ringling. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews , Cousins and other family.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Rapier, Allen Lesley McDonald, Bobby Higdon, Gary Wade, , Tony Lyle, and Larry Roberts.

Honorary Bearers will be Vicki Allen, Joni King, Faye Lambert, Pam Taylor, Stephanie Hammonds, Virginia Webb, Donna “Lou Lou” Skinner, Bane Bigbie, Lynette Kirk, Tony Henley and Scotty Wade

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday Evening at the funeral home in Ringling.
