Shelia Jan Colson

Healdton - Mrs. Shelia Jan Colson, 59 of Healdton, departed from this life on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at her home in Healdton. Shelia was born June 20, 1961 in Onley, TX to the late Mr. James William Green and Mrs. Earline (Brown) Blythe. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Shelia was raised in Indio, CA attending school at Indio High School and graduating in 1979. While in high school, she attended College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA. and obtained her CNA license. She worked in the Home Health industry most of her life. Shelia had worked some in a bakery before moving to Oklahoma in 2001. She then became an accountant for the Chickasaw Nation for 11 years before she retired to help take care of her mother. Shelia enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, attending their football games and watching the Dallas Cowboys. She loved the holidays because it was based around her family and cooking with the girls.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, James "Bill" William Green and Bert Blythe.

Shelia is survived by her children, Kathy Grace and fiance David Hodgson of Wilson, Donald Colson and wife Deanna of Yukon, Richard Colson of Ringling, Dustan Colson and Dani Brown of Ardmore, John Colson, Harold Hutton and Tamera Musgrove of Healdton, Katie Clark and husband James of Healdton, Eric Grace of Lone Grove and Josh Percer and wife Zena of Healdton; brothers, Ricky Don Green of Calera, Brad Blythe of Indio, CA, and Greg Green of Oregon; sister, Bev Moody of Indio, CA; sisters in law, Collette Hutton and John Bacon of Healdton, and Cynthia Preuss and husband Don of Oregon; 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; and by a host of other family and friends.
