Shelby James Blessin

Memorial Services for Mr. Shelby James Blessin, 25, Heavy Equipment Operator ,are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Elmore City Baptist Church with Joe Rushing officiating and Daryl Chapman assisting . Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Shelby was born November 26, 1987 in Ada, OK. to Mr. Christopher Mark Blessin and Mrs. Lena Marsha (Russell ) Blessin. He departed this life on July 30, 2013.

Shelby was raised in Pauls Valley and graduated from Bowie High School in Austin ,TX. in 2006. He moved to the Ratliff City area in 2009 and soon met Dominique Dye. They were married March 20, 2010.Shelby operated heavy equipment for Jimmy Rex Chatham at Chatham Dozer Service of Healdton for the last two years. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler, shooting guns, listening to good music and spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death are his Grandfathers, Edward Arthur Blessin and Voy Michael Russell; Great Grand Mothers, Reja Perry and Sylvia McGow.

Survivors include his Wife, Ashley Dominique Blessin of the Home; Son, Roman Slade Blessin of the Home; Mother, Lena Russell and Steve Williams of Hennepin, OK.; Father, Christopher Blessin of Austin, TX.; Brothers, Jeremy Paul Blessin and fiancé Courtney Farrell Roe of Austin, TX. , Kelly Don Hallmark and wife Ashley of Pauls Valley, OK., Kolby Wayne Hallmark and wife Beckah of Owasso, OK.; Sister, Morgan Williams of Cypress, TX.; Grandparents, Jennifer McCormick of Austin, TX. and Bill and Paula Leverett of Greenville, TX.; Numerous other Family and Friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday at Alexander Funeral Home in Ratliff City, Ok.
