Sarah Elizabeth Snodgrass

Ringling - Graveside services for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Mitchell) Snodgrass, aged 87, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on, Friday, March 21, 2025, at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Mrs. Snodgrass was born on March 15, 1938, in Wilson, Oklahoma, to the late Mr. Thomas Doris Mitchell and Mrs. Julia Mae (Troop) Mitchell. She passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Raised in Wilson, Sarah attended and graduated from Wilson High School. On December 30, 1955, she married Mr. Jimmy Dale Snodgrass in Gainesville, Texas. The couple co-owned and operated the Deep Rock Station alongside Don and Drue Patrick. They also spent time in New Mexico working on a dairy farm on two occasions. Throughout her life, Sarah held various positions including working at a convenience store and a pants factory and was involved with the election board in Ringling for several years.

Sarah had a passion for travel, enjoyed fishing, and was renowned for her pecan pie. She maintained strong connections with her family, ensuring to keep in touch with relatives despite the distances that separated them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim in 2019, two grandsons, Cody and Derrek Snodgrass, and two brothers, Ray and Donald Mitchell.

Sarah is survived by her son, Jimmy Snodgrass and wife Donna; her daughters, Linda Black and husband Philip and Peggy Ray; and her grandchildren, Joseph Eubanks and wife Mariea, Jason Eubanks, Jimmy Darrel Snodgrass, Ashley Klutts and husband Chad, Aaron Eubanks and wife Nicole, Joel Eubanks, Jonathan Manning and fiancé Kacie , Micah Eubanks and wife April, Spencer Lalande, Philecia Williams and husband Robert, and Brandon Black and wife Tammy. She also leaves behind 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, her sister, Dorothy Darden, sister-in-law, Verna Mitchell; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers for the service will be Joseph Eubanks, Jason Eubanks, Jimmy Darrel Snodgrass, Aaron Eubanks, Joel Eubanks, Jonathan Manning, Micah Eubanks, Spencer Lalande and Chad Klutts. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
