Sandra Kay Tuten

Wilson - Mrs. Sandra Kay (Fredenburg) Tuten, 77 of Wilson departed from this life on Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Ardmore at a local nursing facility.  Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.  Sandra was born October 11, 1945 in Rochester, NY to the late Mr. Albert L. Fredenburg and Ms. Jean A. Berry.  

Sandra was mostly raised in Florida.  She married Mr. William "Bill" T. Tuten on August 3, 1969 in Brandon, FL.  Together they moved to Oklahoma in 2010.  She worked majority of her life in the mail room for the State of Florida until her retirement.  Bill preceded her in death on May 5, 2012.  Sandra enjoyed croqueting, pinching others on the butt regardless of who they were, you were going to get it, and she loved her family. 

Also preceding her in death, were her parents; a brother, Johnny; and a son in law, Billy.

Sandra is survived by her children, Jeannie Spence of Wilson, Doyle Thompson and wife Lisa of New Jersey, Ruth Tuten, Patricia Smith, Margret Kelty and husband Will, and Mary Darlene Rodriquez and husband Raymond all of Florida; Amos Tomlin and wife Nancy of Wilson who she considered her son; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
