Wilson

Sandra Lynne (Wilson) Brundage, 66, of Wilson, peacefully passed away on August 19,2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 10, 1958, in San Jose, CA, she was the daughter of late Alonzo Arthur “Lon” Wilson and Joyce Ann (Becker) Wilson.

Sandy was raised in San Jose, where she graduated high school from an all-girls Catholic school. On June 30, 1984, she married Terry Brundage in Reno, NV, and together they built a warm and nurturing home for their children. In December 1996, they moved to Wilson, where they have resided ever since.

Sandy's love extended beyond her own children; she embraced many children in her community as her own, becoming a well-known and beloved figure. For over 15 years, she served as a youth coordinator at the Wilson Boys and Girls Club, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of many young people. Her strong faith was evident as she attended various Baptist churches throughout her life.

A passionate gardener and lover of hummingbirds, Sandy found joy in the natural world, but her greatest joy came from being a devoted mother and grandmother.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Doug and Ronnie.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Brundage; her children, Daniel Lee Brundage and wife Meagan, Jeremy L.T. Brundage and wife Julie, Amber Camillia Brundage, Felicia Iris Brundage, and Sarah Rose Brundage; her bonus mother, Annie Faye Wilson; her brother, Steve Wilson and wife Robin; and her five cherished grandchildren: Harlan Jaxx Brundage, Zatanna Lynne Brundage, Lynex Jade Brundage, Nova Chandell Brundage, and Ruby Shea Brundage. She is also survived by her bonus siblings, Brian and Lisa, along with numerous family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A private celebration of life service will be held, arranged by Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson following her cremation. Condolences may be shared online at www.alexandergrayfh.com.
