Ruthie (Pearce) Bulla

Wilson- Ruthie (Pearce) Bulla, age 97, formerly of Burkburnett, TX, died Tuesday, January, 26, 2016, at her residence, Stone Brook Assisted Living Center, Denison, TX. Private services for Ruthie will be held under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home.

She was born February 5, 1918, in Lebanon, OK to her parents Burl and Nora Pearce who preceded her in death. Also, preceding her in death was her husband of more than 50 years, Lee Austin Bulla, two brothers, Roscoe and Melvin, and two sisters, Hazel and Lela.

She is survived by her two sons, Lee Bulla and his wife Lorraine of Tioga, TX and Mark Bulla and his wife Cindy of Larkspur, CO, three grandchildren Stephen Bulla, Susan Hollon and Stacey Lane, and four great grandchildren.

Ruthie grew up in Wilson, OK where she graduated from high school. She and her husband, Austin, were long-standing members of the Church of Christ in Burkburnett. Private burial will be in the Hewitt Cemetery, Wilson, OK.
